| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the 24-volt socket in the instrument cluster may have insufficient insulation. This can lead to a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire may increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by MAN asking them to schedule an appointment with their nearest MAN dealership to have their vehicle inspected and the work carried out, free of charge. |
