DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, the tailgate cylinder pivot pin may break. If this occurs, it can result in the tailgate door dropping to a vertical position. If the tailgate drops to a vertical position, it may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to the operator or bystanders behind the vehicle.
