| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the front suspension swivel housing may not meet specifications. As a result, the connection between the axles and the steering arms could fail leading to a loss of vehicle control whilst driving. A loss of vehicle control whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should contact their nearest authorised service centre to inspect and repair the Gen II Portal Axle, free of charge. |
