| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the threaded connection between the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel rail may become loose. If this occurs, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source and could result in a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted and are asked to contact their preferred authorised Peugeot dealership to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge. |
