| Defect | Due to an error in the SYNC software, the rear-view camera may not display the rear-view image whilst reversing or the rear-view image may remain on display after reversing. Additionally, this may cause the infotainment screen to display a blank image, an incorrect language setting, and/or potential inability to perform software updates. If the rear-view camera does not operate as intended while reversing the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle. |
| Remedy | Owners of these affected vehicles will be contacted in writing requesting they contact an Authorised Ford Dealer to have their vehicle rectified, free of charge._x000D_ For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 13 FORD (13 3673). |
