DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, the high voltage battery may experience cell degradation. This can result in a loss of motive power and a vehicle fire. A loss of motive power or vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users, bystanders and/or damage to property.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest Jaguar Land Rover dealership to schedule an appointment to have the battery inspected and replaced, free of charge.
