DefectDue to a software issue, the integrated control module software may cause system errors. This can result in a sudden loss of motive power. A sudden loss of power while driving may increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Honda Australia Motorcycles in writing asking them to schedule an appointment to have the software updated, free of charge.
