| Defect | The tyre may be more susceptible to cuts and partial penetrations when used in rugged and wet environments, which may lead to oxidisation of the tyre belt, tread separation and rapid air loss in the tyre. This may also present as a tyre bulge, tread deformation on the tread surface of the affected tyre. Risk of serious injury or death if the tread separates from the tyre, affecting the vehicle’s handling and increasing the risk of an accident. |
| Remedy | Check your tyres for any signs of bulging in the tyre wall, tread deformation, or tread cuts. If any of these are present, stop using the tyre immediately. If your tyres are the original tyres on the vehicle and are part of the recall, please contact your local Bridgestone tyre store (link is external) to arrange for a free replacement. If your tyres are not the original tyres (you have previously had them replaced) and are part of the recall, please contact your original tyre retailer or your local Bridgestone tyre store (link is external) to arrange for a free replacement.
