DefectThe electric power supply to the valves controlling fold-out steps on the crew cab may not operate as intended. This could prevent the steps from extending and cause the driver or vehicle occupant a fall risk while attempting to exit the vehicle._x000D_ Note: A warning about the improper step deployment is displayed in the instrument cluster. A fall from significant height may increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupant.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Scania Australia asking them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the vehicle rectified, free of charge.
