| Defect | The rear centre seat belt anchor buckle may have been incorrectly assembled. As a result, the seat belt may not properly latch or operate as intended. In the event of an accident, if the seat belt does not properly latch or operate as intended, it will increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by KIA and asked to make an appointment with their preferred authorised KIA dealer to have the rear middle seat belt anchor buckle inspected and/or replaced, free of charge. |
