DefectThe gearshift fork spiral pin may dislodge and move out of position leading to an internal transmission failure. If this occurs, it could result in an unintended vehicle movement. An unintended vehicle movement could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Scania Australia asking them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the rectification carried out, free of charge.
