DefectUnder certain conditions, a software problem could cause the antilock braking system (ABS) not to work properly. As a result, the ABS could cause reduced braking or a loss of brakes._x000D_ Reduced braking or a loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.

RemedyGeneral Motors will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the electronic brake control module software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a GM dealership.
