DefectIn the PTC heater that assists heating, due to improper control, if the heater is repeatedly used at maximum output, the heat generated by the PTC heater may deform the PTC heater harness connector terminals. Therefore, if use is continued in that state, the terminal part may become hot due to poor contact, causing the connector to melt, and in the worst case, there is a risk of vehicle fire.

RemedyFor all affected vehicles, the PTC heater will be replaced with a new one, and the PTC heater harness will be replaced with an improved part. Until replacement parts are ready, a temporary measure to disable the function will be implemented.
