DefectIn the clamp that secures the rear brake pipe to the frame, due to insufficient holding force, if the brake pipe detaches from the clamp, it may approach or come into contact with the exhaust pipe. As a result, air bubbles may form in the brake line, weakening the braking force. If use continues, the contact point may wear down and break, leading to brake fluid leakage and the inability to stop safely.
ComponentBraking system (rear brake pipe clamp)
RemedyFor all affected vehicles, replace the rear brake pipe clamp with an improved part.
