DefectComponents added to the diaphragm of the front brake master cylinder reservoir tank may dissolve in the brake fluid, causing the rubber parts to deform and potentially blocking the passage for brake fluid replenishment or recovery. In such cases, if the vehicle is driven with an increased gap between the brake pads and disc, the braking distance may increase, leading to a potential accident, hence a recall.
ComponentOther braking system components
RemedyReplace with an improved front brake master cylinder and an improved diaphragm.
