DefectAlthough a CPU abnormality detection function was designed in the ICM, software was incorrectly developed that misinterprets simple communication errors as CPU abnormalities, allowing it to detect a CPU abnormality and reset the CPU even if a communication error occurs only once. In such cases, if the CPU resets while driving, a warning light may illuminate, and problems such as loss of driving power or inability to drive may occur, leading to this recall.
