| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, moisture may enter into the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) in the Hydraulic Clutch Actuator (HCA). This could cause an electrical short circuit and result in a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact their preferred Kia dealer to schedule an appointment to have the HCA inspected and replaced if required, free of charge. |
