| Defect | The propeller shaft balance weight may not have been welded to the required specifications and could detach. If this occurs, it may lead to vibration in the propeller shaft, causing abnormal noise and a loss of motive power whilst driving. A loss of motive power and/or parts detaching from the vehicle whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders. |
| Remedy | When parts become available, will contact owners of affected vehicles to have the modified tandem propeller shaft replaced, free of charge. |
