DefectOn certain vehicles, the engine output shaft may fail and break. If this occurs, it could lead to a loss of power to the wheel. A sudden loss of motive power whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to the vehicle occupant and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by BRP once the remedy is available asking them to book an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
