| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the left side curtain airbag inflator may unexpectedly rupture. If airbag inflator ruptures, compressed gas can rapidly escape from the inflator, propelling material, such as headliner or trim pieces into the vehicle. Material being propelled into an occupied vehicle may cause injury. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should contact their nearest authorised RAM dealer to have the vehicle inspected and if necessary replace the left airbag inflators, free of charge. |
