| Defect | Due to a software issue, the turn indicator lamps may not operate as intended. If the turn signal indicators do not operate as intended, other road users may be unable to identify if the vehicle is turning. This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to the rider and/or other road users._x000D_ Vehicles are not compliant with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 13/00 - Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices on other than L-Group Vehicles. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Western Star asking them to schedule an appointment with their local authorised dealer to have the software updated, free of charge. |
