| Defect | The affected trailers are provided with wheel nuts that may not be compatible with the spare tyre. As a result, if these nuts are used on the spare tyre, the clamping force between the nut and spare tyre may not have sufficient torque. This may result in the wheel becoming loose, detaching and/or cause deflation of the tyre resulting in a loss of trailer control whilst driving. A loss of trailer control whilst driving will increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted and are asked to schedule an appointment with Enviroline Group to provide the specified wheel nuts, free of charge. |
