DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, there is a possibility of engine machining debris contamination within the engine. This could lead to potential engine knocking, rough running and/or stalling during operation causing a loss of motive power. A loss of motive power or engine stalling whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyWhen remedy is available, owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Lexus and are asked to make an appointment at their preferred Lexus dealer for rectification, free of charge._x000D_ To find a local dealer, visit https://www.lexus.com.au/contact/find-a-dealer_x000D_ For further information, consumers can contact their preferred Lexus dealer or contact the Lexus Customer Assistance Centre on 1800 023 009 (Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm AEST).
