| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) may not operate as intended and could remain partially engaged whilst driving. If this occurs, it could overheat leading to a vehicle fire._x000D_ Note: If this occurs, EPB warning lights (orange) alert will illuminate on the instrument cluster. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users, and bystanders, and/or damage to property. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Daimler Truck asking them to book an appointment with their authorised dealer to have the rectification carried out, free of charge. |
