DefectDue to incorrect wheel bolts, the wheel’s connection bolts may not meet the required specification and become loose. If this occurs, it could cause the wheel to shift direction, potentially leading to a loss of vehicle control. A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Mercedes Benz in writing asking them to schedule an appointment with their authorised dealership to have the repair carried when parts become available, free of charge.
