| Defect | Due to a software issue in the steering column control module (SCCM), the turn signal lever could remain active even after the steering wheel completes its rotation. If the turn signal indicators do not operate as intended, other road users may be unable to identify if the vehicle is turning. This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should contact their nearest authorised RAM dealer to have the SCCM inspected and replaced, free of charge. Owners of affected vehicles will also be contacted in writing by RAM Australia. |
