| Defect | Due to a manufacturing defect, the sockets fitted to the turn signal lamps in the front headlight assembly may overheat and melt. If this occurs, the turn signal indicators may not operate as intended. If the turn signal indicators do not operate as intended, other road users may be unable to identify if the vehicle is turning. This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected vehicles should contact their nearest authorised Daimler Truck dealership to book an appointment to have the rectification carried out, free of charge. |
